Celebrate Florida Lighthouse Day

with us!

The first-ever Forgotten Coast Lighthouse Challenge commemorates Florida Lighthouse Day   by offering participants the opportunity to visit and climb the four historic lighthouses on Florida’s Panhandle, in an area known as the “Forgotten Coast.”  The participating lighthouses are, from west to east, Cape San Blas Lighthouse, Cape St. George Light, Crooked River Lighthouse, and St. Mark’s Lighthouse.  Participants in the Challenge will receive a souvenir at each lighthouse and a special souvenir for climbing or visiting all four lighthouses.  By holding a Lighthouse Challenge, we hope to raise awareness about the lighthouses in northwest Florida and encourage support for the efforts to preserve these important players in Florida’s maritime history
