Reaching a milestone in a long journey, the St. Joseph Historical Society officially cut the ribbon October 10, 2007, and had their first customer at the gift shop located on the first floor of the historically refurbished “Sleeping Beauty” lighthouse keeper’s quarters.

The gift shop offers lighthouse/coastal themed gift items, local art, jewelry and books by regional authors.

Upstairs, a mini-museum is a work in progress with a goal to represent keeper’s quarters living conditions during the early twentieth century, when the house was built.

The Tower is open for climbing only on Friday & Saturdays, come on out and climb. Open during store hours. $5.00 each, children under 10, Free, with adult.
